How to Clean a Granite Countertop
Materials Needed
Warm water
Gentle dish soap
Dish cloth
Clean towel
- Soak up any visible liquids on the counter with a paper towel or dish cloth. If you’ve spilled wine or other stain-able liquid, gently soak up the liquid with a paper towel and discard.
- Get your dish cloth wet with warm, soapy water. Rinse warm water and soap together with your dish cloth thoroughly.
- Wipe down the countertops. Using your wet dish cloth gently wipe down the granite surface until all visible liquids or crumbs are removed.
- Dry with a clean towel. Dry with a soft cloth towel to avoid streaking.
