Position Overview

Great Lakes Granite & Marble in Redford, MI seeks to hire a project manager who enjoys working in a respectful, friendly, dynamic team environment. The role involves assisting clients with their granite, quartz, or marble project—whether a full kitchen, bathroom vanity, or other projects.

We’re a small team that pushes towards common objectives, collaborates on projects, and, most importantly, doesn’t take itself too seriously.


You would serve as the main point of contact for clients by providing outstanding customer service by setting correct expectations, satisfying customer’s needs, and completing projects. You would join our team of four other project managers, occasionally interacting with field workers and shop personnel.

Responsibilities

You would step into our 2-3 year training program that includes 4 stages of progression. Depending on experience, you might start as entry level #1- trainee or # 2 junior level project manager. Level #4 is our Senior Project Manager responsible for quoting projects, scheduling and managing multiple projects at one time and resolving issues on jobs as they arise.

A willingness to learn excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills is required. It is helpful but not required to have some knowledge of construction industry. Knowledge of cabinetry, kitchen, and bath design is a plus. We are willing to train the right individual.

Other details

  • Must pass drug and alcohol test and background check
  • Part-time position available for the right candidate
  • Full time – Must be available to work 40 hours up to and including the following schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 8:00am to 7:00pm

Saturdays: 9:00am to 12:00pm
